
Olivia Katoa signed her first professional contract with Portland after being selected as a second-round draft pick in the 2024 NWSL College Draft. Her rookie season saw her make several appearances in both the NWSL regular season and the NWSL x Liga MX Summer Cup.
Prior to going pro, Katoa had an historic career at BYU (2018-2023), posting an impressive 25 goals and 20 assists across 120 matches and 9,107 minutes played plus earning captain honors her senior year. She helped the Cougars clinch six straight NCAA DI Women’s Soccer Tournament berths and led them to their first ever Final Four appearances in 2021 and 2023, finishing runners-up in the former.
Internationally, she has represented the U.S. at the U-17 level.
